Showers and Lounges at Montreal Airport

There are no free public showers at Montréal-Trudeau, and no pay-per-use shower facility outside the lounges. To shower or rest between flights, you need lounge access or a hotel room. This guide lists the lounges by sector.

Lounges by sector

International (everywhere except the U.S.): the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Gate 52 has showers. The Desjardins Odyssey Lounge near gate 63 opens daily from 4:00 am until the last flight, around 10:00 pm. The Aspire Lounge near gate 53 accepts Priority Pass. The National Bank Lounge, temporarily near gate 53 for National Bank World Elite Mastercard holders, and the Air France KLM Lounge are also in this sector.

Transborder (U.S. flights, after preclearance): a Maple Leaf Lounge near gate 73 (no showers) and a Desjardins Odyssey Lounge, operated with Plaza Premium, near gate 76, open daily from 4:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Domestic: a Maple Leaf Lounge at Gate 3 (no showers), plus the Aspire lounge toward Gate 1 after Checkpoint A, listed by Priority Pass as open 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, which accepts Priority Pass and American Express Platinum cards.

Access rules: business-class tickets and eligible status or memberships for the Maple Leaf Lounges; Desjardins Odyssey cards or an entry fee ($42 from age 12, $26 for ages 3 to 11, free under 3, before tax) for the Odyssey lounges; and Priority Pass, day passes or card programmes for the Aspire lounges. Opening hours shift with flight schedules, so verify on the day.

Showers

Air Canada lists showers at the international Maple Leaf Lounge only; the domestic and transborder Maple Leaf Lounges have none, and the Desjardins and Aspire lounge pages list no showers. Arriving from a red-eye without lounge access, the nearest shower is at a hotel: the Marriott In-Terminal Hotel connected to the terminal (Guest Room Day Pass from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 11:00 am to 7:00 pm), or the Sheraton, a 7-minute walk or a free shuttle ride every 30 minutes.

Lounge or hotel

For stops under four hours, a lounge involves no transfer. For longer stops, a day-room arrangement gives you a bed and a private bathroom; for an overnight stop, see the hotels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there showers at Montreal Airport?

Showers are only inside lounges: Air Canada lists showers at its international Maple Leaf Lounge only, and the terminal has no public showers. Without access to that lounge, the alternative is a room or day arrangement at a nearby hotel.

Which YUL lounges accept Priority Pass?

The Aspire lounges: the Aspire Lounge in the international sector near gate 53, and the Aspire lounge in the domestic sector toward Gate 1 after Checkpoint A. Both also admit American Express Platinum cardholders; check your programme's app for current terms.

Where are the lounges at Montreal Airport?

All are airside: Maple Leaf Lounges in the domestic (Gate 3), international (Gate 52) and transborder (near gate 73) sectors, the Desjardins Odyssey lounges in the international (near gate 63) and transborder (near gate 76) sectors, the Aspire lounges in the international and domestic sectors, and the National Bank Lounge and Air France KLM Lounge in the international sector.
